You really have to watch this technology demo from Manchester based company 'Image Metrics'. I noticed an article on the 'uncanny valley' phenomenon and hit the YouTube link for the demo. It was very slow to load so I continued to read my emails. Eventually the demo started, I had one eye on the demo, the other on my mail. It didn't seem anything special, just an interview with some company PR. Then I realised.....
