Vertigo String Footage

Some test footage from my machinima presentation 'The Horseless Carriage'. This footage uses my new avatar 'Vertigo String': this is the first version of this avatar, which I'm sure will change over time.

Multiple WOW Characters

There's an interesting article over on ripten.com about a 'World of Warcraft' player that runs thirty-six accounts simultaneously. Now these are all gaming accounts, but after looking at the setup (see image to the right) I thought it would be a fantastic machinima creation suite. Follow this link for the article.

Video Capture Software

I've been looking into screen capture software this week. The 'Creating Second Lives' conference is just under two weeks away and I want to create some machinima for the event. If I was using a PC I would immediately choose 'Fraps', my system is a MacBookPro so I have a bit more choice.
Given the multiple software titles for the Mac I've rounded the list down to 'SnapzProX', 'ScreenFlow' and 'iShowU'. I'm going to evaluate all three products and report back in a few weeks on my preferred software.
